Some New Web 2.0 Tools for the Classroom

imageWe are all aware of the benefits of the collaborative web tools like blogging, social media, podcasting but I have been looking for some new Web 2.0 tools that I think teachers would find useful. I discovered quite a few but I will save some for future postings – I don’t want to overload your creativity!!Here are a few I think you should investigate – all free of course!

For all you Google Apps for Education fans – Aviary Design Suite – as the blurb states –

“Free design tools and templates to create, modify and share images, logos, presentations, audio tracks, podcasts & more. Teams can collaborate on multimedia projects. Works directly in Google Docs.” Check it out here – http://bit.ly/f0Df1b

imageWould you like to animate text? – Here is an online tool “With Wondersay, you can use any simple sentence or twitter account to generate a cool animation! Wondersayings are easy to create, customise and share. No software programs to download (it’s all online), no sign-up or passwords (save them by copying the link), and all for free.” www.wondersay.comimage
