You’ll need a Windows Live user ID and password to login to the Partners in Learning Network US site. Once you are logged in it’s simply a matter of downloading the file and installing it on your classroom PC. Note that AutoCollage is only free to teachers for use in their own classrooms.

1: Open the AutoCollage program.

2: Select a folder with your chosen images. I find it easier to copy and paste the images I want into a new folder rather than selecting them from within the program.

3: Click on the Create button and watch the magic unfold!

There are several options included in the program such as “Determine the number of selected images”, “Final Image size”, “Ability to rank images” and also some “Facial detection” features. It a great tool for students to use especially when they want to display lots of photographs taken with a digital camera.
