Interactive Teaching Programmes – Primary Mathematics

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (U.K.) on one of their sites The Standard Sites has over 30 interactive teaching programmes for Primary Mathematics at http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/primaryframeworks/library/Mathematics/ICTResources/itps/

The programmes will support teachers in teaching the number, data, shape and space and measurement strands of the revised primary school curriculum. They are particularly suitable for use on an interactive whiteboard or data projector and large screen. Teachers using Promethean interactive whiteboards and the ActivPrimary software may already be familiar with them as they are included with ActivPrimary. The programmes are available for both the PC and Apple platforms. The programmes were developed by the Primary National Strategy as interactive resources that will support modelling, demonstration and exporation in the teaching of mathematics.
