Veed AI: Simple Lightning-Fast Video Creation

In today’s social media orientated world, I doubt there are many settings left that can survive, or at least make an impact, without multimedia content such as videos. Yet, if you have ever been involved in video editing, you know this can be a time-consuming task! So what has AI got to offer in addressing this time void?

Well, I encourage you to explore Veed to find out. Explore just how quickly you can create reasonable quality videos in minutes not hours! I came across Veed a few years ago when it was mooted for its ability to accurately transcribe and burn in editable captions at the click of a button. Veed with its AI features has even more to offer now, read on and judge for yourself by viewing the sample videos created by Veed below (and to think AI is going to continue to improve!).

Text-to-Video Generator: Quick and Decent Quality

One of Veed’s standout features for me is its Text-to-Video generator. In minutes, I was able to create a reasonable quality video from just a block of text. The platform’s AI quickly generates video content, complete with visuals and audio, without requiring much manual intervention. While it’s not Hollywood-level, the ease and speed of use make this tool perfect for quick video creation. For anyone needing to turn content into video quickly it is ideal. I combined this text to video feature with voice cloning for the result below.

Voice Cloning: A Favourite

Stand out feature number two is Veed’s voice cloning. In just over five minutes, I had a video with a cloned version of my voice, and although it had a slight US accent, it sounded remarkably human compared to other AI-generated voices. This makes it an excellent tool for those who want to offer a more personal touch in the videos without recording voiceovers, which take an immense amount of time to record correctly.

Example (Please take time to view the result):

Here is a timelapse of the video above being created, simple easy to use interface with stock media to drag and dorp:

Steps

  • Create the cloned voice (very easy to do – clone voice set up screencast here)
  • Input text into the ‘Text to video’ feature
  • Change any visuals as you see fit (I can be a bit fussy at times, but this was so quick to do)
  • And done!

AI Avatar Video: Ok it’s not perfect but still impressive

Veed also offers an AI avatar video generator. Although the lip-syncing isn’t always spot-on, and the voice can feel slightly robotic, the fact that I could generate a complete avatar video in less than five minutes is a little mind-blowing – the avatar is quite realistic, no? For quick projects or content that doesn’t demand absolute perfection, I think this is worth considering.

AI Caption Translator: A Game Changer for Multilingual Content?

I am also amazed by the AI caption translator. While I’m not a language expert, I can’t see how this feature is not worth exploring for language teachers or educators working with multilingual students. Veed can even translate the audio of a video into another language. While not flawless, I think it is a powerful tool for broadening the accessibility of your content to non-English-speaking audiences (perhaps useful for as a ‘find the errors’ task for students learning a language?). The video above, at the click of a button, was translated into the German version below. The second video shows the captions translated into French (also at the click of a button and produced in minutes!)

Veed added French captions to an English video:

Clip Creation

Another unreal feature is Veed’s ability to take a longer videos and reduce them into a 15 second, 30 second or 1 minute engaging snapshot of the highlights! This sample is not super impressive as a it is an avatar based video to begin with – but I would encourage you to trial using this feature on a loner video you know is useful or perhaps a previously recorded lesson to create a lesson teaser!

Other Highlights

Veed is packed with other features that streamline video creation, here are some of my go to’s:

Accurate Transcripts: Veed’s transcription accuracy is among the best I’ve seen, which is essential for subtitling and content repurposing.

Text Burn-in: Burning text directly onto the video is simple and quick, giving videos a polished and professional look.

Audio Cleaning: The audio cleaning tool is reasonably effective, enhancing sound quality with minimal effort.

Silence Reduction: Veed can automatically trim out silences or filler words like “um” and “but,” making your videos flow more smoothly without tedious manual editing.

Stock Assets: With searchable libraries of stock images, videos, sound effects, and music, finding the reasonable media to accompany your video is easy and time saving.

Hosting and Interaction: To top it all off, Veed even allows you to host your videos directly on their platform. You can easily add clickable buttons within your video display page, allowing viewers to take action without leaving the player.

Conclusion

Veed is an impressive, time-saving tool for anyone looking to create videos quickly and efficiently. Whether you’re leveraging the text-to-video generator, avatar creation, or experimenting with voice cloning, Veed simplifies the process and delivers impressive results in minutes. It’s a must-try for content creators, educators, and professionals alike.
