For Summer 2018, TeachNet are offering seven EPV Day Approved courses, to help you and your school achieve effective ICT integration into teaching and learning, including two new blended (Face-to-face and online) courses, ‘Making Sense of Minecraft for Education’ and ‘Enhancing 21st Skills using Microsoft Tools’, developed in association with Microsoft Education and hosted in DreamSpace, their new immersive teaching and learning centre.
TeachNet’s online courses bring together the expertise of St. Patrick’s College and the practical approach of our course authors. All TeachNet courses are created “by teachers, for teachers” using the best interactive e-learning technology and provide practical ideas for using ICT creatively in the classroom. The feedback from participants, since first offering offering online courses in 2008 has been very positive and we are confident that the TeachNet courses provide a superior user experience.

Each course is approved for EPV days and costs €89. Delivered online, this course can be taken anytime, anywhere between Monday July 2nd and Friday August 24th, 2018. Participants will be encouraged to engage meaningfully with course content for approximately 20 hours. Whilst engagement with the course content will be primarily judged on the quality of their contributions, a log of their time spent working on the course will be kept.
