This is a website (Pete’s Power Point Station) I came across that was recommended to readers of another teacher’s blog. The site has a vast number of free Powerpoint presentations which can be downloaded by teachers for their own use. It is suitable for both primary and secondary schools and the teacher can amend each downloaded powerpoint to suit his/her own purposes. If you select “Click here for the full Themes and Topics list” you will find that there are hundreds of topics listed alphabetically. There is a section on Ireland and the themes cover everything from History to Hurling! There are also links to other sites and resources suitable for students. All in all Pete’s Power Point Station has plenty to interest everyone and it’s all free!
