BYOD programmes were asking for apps for smartphones in addition to apps that were already available for tablet devices. Every time that Promethean updated ClassFlow one received a message to update apps on tablet devices. I have to admit that having to update apps for tablets every month or two was quite time consuming. The good news is that Promethean has listened to their ClassFlow users and has optimised their product for use on mobile devices. Apps are no longer required and pupils using a smartphone or a tablet can access ClassFlow through their browser also by logging onto www.classflow.com/student just like users using a desktop, netbook or laptop computer in a classroom. Obviously the smaller the screen, more scrolling will be necessary as can be seen from the tablet and smartphone screenshots.
