Transform Teaching & Learning with Microsoft Tools

Next week Exertis Ireland in association with Microsoft and Lenovo are hosting two live webinars, one for Primary schools on Wednesday October 6th @ 3pm and one for Post-primary schools on Thursday October 7th @ 4pm. These live sessions are designed specifically for school leaders and teachers interested in discovering how Microsoft technologies can support and enhance the delivery of new blended/hybrid approaches for teaching, learning and assessment (face-to-face and online) post pandemic. From Teams for online classrooms, OneNote for ePortfolios to Word and PowerPoint for presentations and assignments. Microsoft 365 gives teachers and students powerful tools to learn, collaborate, and create which can ultimately lead to transformative practice in both the primary post-primary sectors. Furthermore, all schools can sign up for Microsoft 365 for Education (A1 Plan) for free. The webinar delivered by Dr Michael Hallissy, John Hurley and Pat Brennan of H2 Learning (35 minutes)

These 45 minute webinars will will consist of a keynote presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. and will consider the role of digital technologies in enabling better teaching and learning in schools and provide an overview of the range of Microsoft services and supports available to augment the use of devices. Coming out of these sessions, Exertis and Microsoft would also like to identify future topics that school leaders and teachers would like additional and deeper information or guidance on.
