Students from schools around the country took part in the competition hosted in Microsoft. With over 400 students competing in teams to capture the flag.
Students completed challenges in areas in cyber-security including; reconnaissance, confidentiality & phishing. Students used their cyber-security skills to complete over 30 cyber security related challenges, such as; puzzles, quizzes, web hacking, bug bounties, lock picking, coding & escape rooms.
The event has plenty of tasks & activities for students of all abilities to ensure it was a challenging & enjoyable experience for all students involved!
Students worked in teams of 2 and 3 to complete the gamified cyber-security challenges. It’s a perfect opportunity for students to develop their problem solving skills, collaborate with their peers & encourage each other to use their strengths & persevere to come out on top!
It was a fun filled day that also opened students eyes to the risks online, how they can stay safe while also sparking students interest in the thriving career area of cybersecurity!
