TeachNet is once again delighted to provide a comprehensive suite of fully online, EPV-approved summer courses for the summer 2026 season. Among this year’s offerings are updated digital technology courses to reflect the growing use of GenAI in society and education.
Google Gemini and Microsoft CoPilot
TeachNet is once again delighted to offer our staple summer courses in using Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace in the primary classroom. However, this year we are delighted to offer separate courses that focus on maximising the use of the ‘native’ Gen-AI tools to enhance practice and reduce administrative workload on teachers. The Google Workspace course will focus on the staple apps of Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc. and how seamless Gemini integration can create efficient and effective systems to compliment our existing use of these products in our classrooms. A common feature of both courses is the focus on how AI related tools can assist teachers with planning and preparation, differentiation and assessment.

Future STEM Ready Classrooms with DreamSpace
TeachNet and DreamSpace are delighted to collaborate on this course for summer 2026. With the redeveloped primary curriculum specifications being rolled out in schools from September 2026, this course would be an ideal choice for getting to grips with the STE specification. The course will focus in particular on the pedagogy of computation thinking, linking directly with the technology strand of the STE spec. Participants will have the unique opportunity to delve deeper into the possibility of linking coding, computational thing and problem-solving in both plugged and unplugged contexts.

These courses, along with an additional 10 courses, are certainly not to be missed. Visit teachnet.ie for further information on signing up.
