Interesting resources emerging from The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education
The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education is involved in a wide range of interesting projects that are exploring the role of digital technology in HE and beyond. The Forum, through their teaching and learning enhancement fund funded 11 projects in their first round of funding in 2014 and these projects have now come to fruition. The final review of the 2014 projects took place recently on Thursday, 13th October 2016, facilitated by the international review panel (Oct 2016).
Here are some of the interesting projects that featured on the day
- Student Success Toolbox for Flexible Learners: Supporting Transitions from Thinking About Study to the First Weeks
These tools are designed to help First Year College students experience success during their first year in College and the project was led by DCU
2. TEL Tools – Pedagogical Resources for Technology Enhanced Teaching and Learning
The TELU Project is a collection of 100 micro courses on TEL related matters and the project was led by Cork Institute of Technology.
3. All Aboard! Enabling & Empowering Staff & Students to Flourish in the Digital Age
The All Aboard Project is focused on developing confidence among HE and FE staff in using digital technology and it was led by University College Galway.
