With so many AI tools to choose from, I am slowly trying out different ones to create resources for my lessons!
I have recently been trying out Gamma AI to create power points for my lessons. I have been using Co-pilot to help with the content and then Gamma AI creates the power point!
I start with Co-pilot to brainstorm and structure my lesson. You can use any generative AI to create your content, Co-pilot is just my personal preference! For example, if I’m teaching quadratic equations or the periodic table, I just describe the topic and Co-pilot helps me generate a clear outline, key concepts, and even example problems or mini quizzes. You can also input information from the syllabus to help create content! I would recommend giving it a try!!

Once I have the content, I move over to Gamma AI. I paste the outline into Gamma, and it instantly turns it into a sleek, interactive presentation. The slides are visually appealing and easy to edit—perfect for breaking down complex topics like balancing chemical equations or solving simultaneous equations. I can add diagrams, videos, or even interactive elements to keep students engaged.
Here’s an example of one of the slides it created for me to explain the structure of the periodic table:

The biggest advantage of using Gamma AI is the time saving. If you are stuck for prep time and need a fresh PowerPoint quickly, it is the perfect tool!!
