I will devleop the 21st century skill of use of ICT in classroom. I will do this in a variety of ways:
1. Using One Note to share resources and notes with students
2. Using One Note as a collaborative space for students to work in groups, this will also link in with other 21st century skills
3. Using Forms to gather feedback from students and give them immediate feedback on their progress. This is a valuable formative assessment tool.
4. Using Sway to create a lesson plan in a flipped classroom approach, embed videos and other resources.
5. Use Search coach to develop students reseacrh skills, as a teacher I can guide students towards certain sources that I want them to use, this is really helpful for younger students.
By the use of this ICT in the classroom students will be more independant learners and will learn to take ownership of their learning. They will get feedback through Forms/assignements and improve their work from there. Many 21st century skills can be hit here

Tools such as Microsoft Teams, One Note and Forms support differentiated instruction, and facilitate formative assessment to help the student and teacher. Using apps like Quizlet or Forms can provide instant feedback and help track student progress in real time, enabling more responsive teaching.
Applying the School Self-Evaluation (SSE) Guidelines allows teachers to systematically reflect on and improve their use of technology. Through gathering evidence (e.g., student feedback, assessment data), identifying areas for growth, and implementing targeted strategies, I can ensure that digital tools are used purposefully to support learning outcomes.
At the school level, developing my own digital practice contributes to a culture of innovation and shared professional learning. As confidence and competence grow among staff, SSE becomes a collaborative tool for embedding digital learning in whole-school planning, ultimately leading to improved student experiences and outcomes.

Consider how OneNote and OneNote Learning Tools could support and expand deeper learning opportunities for students.
One note is a fantastic place for teachers to store learning resources for students all in one place. It is a valuable tool that can be used to facilitate a flipped classroom approach, allowing for more valauble and deeper tasks to take place in the classroom.
Students can also use the immersive reader tool to help if needed.
The Search coach is also a very valuable tool for teachers to use when teaching students how to research properly, soemthing that is very important with CBA’s and more with LC projects now also.
Being able to integrate video, audio, pictures, forms and annotations into one note meand you can cretae a learning tool that suits every type of learner and all of it is available in the one place. I like the idea of keeping the same template across the whole notebook so that students are familiar with it and know what to expect.

July 21, 2025 at 5:05 pm in reply to: Module 2 – Office 365 Tools to help support Collaboration #234152Microsoft teams can be used for departments to share resources and ideas for different lessons/topics. It is a good collaborative space for teachers to not only share documents and keep them all in the one place but also to share videos and links etc. It is great that everything can be kept together in one place and shared easily for everyone to use. It can also allow for collaborative work as everyone can work on the same document/resource.
The challenges with using Teams and sharing online resources may be that not everyone likes to work that way online, some people may be reluctant. The workload may also not be shared as some people may not upload as many resources as other people.

I see Microsoft forms as being a quick and easy AfL tool, a way for teachers to assess students quickly and get feedback on their learning. It also always students to get immediate feedback on their learning/progress. It is great to be able to include videos and images in the questions also.
Microsoft sway could be used as a way for students to present projects in a variety of ways and allows students to personalise the design. It is a form of UDL, allowing students autonomy over their own leanring.
It could also be used by the student council to create newsletters and share information.
As part of the SSE process forms could be used to gather information through surveys with staff, students and parents.
Both sway and forms can be used to monitor and track progress in many areas of SSE
