I have chosen how to use drive to organise files. https://applieddigitalskills.withgoogle.com/c/middle-and-high-school/en/organize-files-in-drive/overview.html

It is an 8 step by step process in the following:

Introduction to Use Drive to Organize Files.

      Create and Color-Code Folders.

      Rename, Move, and Delete Files

Upload and Add Files to Drive

      Set and Change Sharing Permission.

Use Drive to Organize Files Wrap-Up

Use Drive to Organize Files Extensions

The reason I am doing this course is to do with the fear of what I could do wrong in my Google drive and wanting to know what Google classroom has to offer. I think that as a school we use Google drive and share files etc. amongst the staff but we have received no official training. We are lucky to have staff members who are knowledgeable with Google drive and offer assistance to others. We have been sent information on training sessions but the times haven’t suit me. This is a tool that means people like me can practice at a time suitable for themselves. I believe this is something suitable not only for staff especially for SSE but for students also. It’s a step by step guide which encourages and guides you through how to organise your files and folders. I believe file management is something we must introduce to all students at an early stage not only for students with access to AT. I also think that if school are sharing resources it would be worth while to come to an arrangement of how to name shared files, where to save etc and this tool definitely assists with this.
