Overall, AI can enhance productivity, support the creation of engaging content and help teachers and schools work more efficiently when used appropriately. Exploring chatbots such as ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini during this module gave me a better understanding of how they can support teaching and learning. They can be particularly useful for creating resources, researching topics, generating questions and answers, quizzes and stories, saving teachers valuable time.
I also had the opportunity to explore tools such as Vidnoz and Pictory, which I had not used before. I can see how these tools could make lessons more engaging and interactive for pupils in my classroom.
The module also highlighted the importance of using AI responsibly. As teachers, we need to be aware of the potential risks and ensure that we use AI positively, critically and ethically while making the most of its benefits in education.
