When my pupils were studying the geography of their own county they found the source material difficult to access and, where available, aimed mainly at an adult audience. This project is an attempt to present relevant material in an interesting manner at a more appropriate reading level. I have included sections on the towns, the major industries, farming and the physical geography of County Monaghan. As each section is on a separate web-page they could be studied individually or as a complete unit. This project could be used as a template for the study of other counties. It could also be compared and contrasted to studies, which the pupils had made of their own county.

Suitable for 4th, 5th , 6th class.
