Google has a teacher education centre? I didn’t know this!!
Hi I’m Máire and I’m a AP in a small urban school in Cork City.
I have spent about 10 hours looking at all the resources and feel completely overwhelmed. There is just so much out there.
Step by step!
I have just made a personal logo and explored some of the basics that Google has to offer. As a third and fourth class teacher, I feel this would be a nice intro to our chrome books and giving students a nice activity to start the school year.

We are introducing Google Classroom to students this year, despite a bit of noise from parents (increased screen time) but I think I would demonstrate the process using my wireless keypad and then attach the above lesson for pupils to work on this over the course of a week.
It covers a range of subjects: STEM, SPHE, Oral Language, Visual Arts
Just wish I was more adept at doing it all!
