There was so much invaluable information in this module. I had to go back through the PDF to ensure I had taken it all in! Microsoft Reading Coach has huge potential in a busy class setting, as sometimes it is not possible to listen to all the children reading. The fact that pupils can record their reading and receive personalised feedback, complete post reading challenges is extremely useful and certainly a tool.

I would love to use Microsoft copilot as I think it would be very effective for the children. If they were to input a description, see the outcome, and then see if they could create a more detailed picture. I think pupils would really enjoy using this tool and it would certainly help illustrate the importance of painting a clearer picture for the reader.

I definitely think Gamma and Diffit are tools which would save teachers a huge amount of time when it comes to creating resources for lessons but equally children could use them for projects.

I will certainly use Gamma in the future for creating presentations and it could be a useful tool for pupils to present work to their peers also.

I did something similiar and I cannot believe how quick this it is. I think the children would really enjoy using this in group work also.

I also agree that Immersive Reader would be an excellent resource in SET and EAL. As children progress to the older classes they can become more conscious about receiving SET support. The Immersive Reader and many of the other AI tools could be a great incentive for them to engage in the learning and give them something to look forward too, while learning in a fun and engaging way.

I certainly think that AI can transform the teaching and learning experience in my classroom. It would cut down on paperwork and planning lessons. I was very impressed by the lesson planning around Multipication for multigrade 5th and 6th class.

Its important to remember though that AI is just a tool and aids teaching and learning.
In terms of challenges I think there would need to be a whole school approach to using AI. The school community including teachers, management, pupils and parents would need to understand why AI is being used in the school and the benefits of it to learning.

I teach the Senior Classes for over three years and have been very dubious about using AI in the classroom. This is due to my own lack of knowledge and fear of the unknown. There has also been a lot of negative media commentary on AI in the classroom and equally a fear of it in many schools that it may challenge traditional teaching. This module has really opened my mind to using AI. As educators we need to look at it as another learning tool, like books and resouces. I will certainly be using it in my classroom in September.
