Yes these websites are great and it’s great to refresh our minds and inspire us to do more STEM activities, I love the fact that you need little to no specialist equipment and that many of the lessons require items you already have or from the recycling bin. This module has certainly inspired me to be a little more creative with my science based lessons. Many thanks

There are many concepts and skills that I  have learned in this module that i would use in my own teaching practice in line with the STEM Education policy statement. I would definitely utilise the curious minds website, the esero website. I used the discover science website before but I had forgotten about it and I really like the easy way you can filter lessons on the curious minds website and link your lesson across the curriculum. The frameworks are so easily laid out and it gives you everything you need to create an engaging STEM lesson at any class level. I have never used the ESERO website before but again  I can see this becoming a go to website for STEM going forward. I love the suggestions in this lesson on using the colour wheel to explore light and the suggestions to make it easier or more challenging depending on the class you are teaching. Also I love the make your own telescope lesson and the fact it clearly explains which materials you would need to buy to make the telescope. This module has given me the confidence to try new stem lessons and explore this area of science in more detail with my class.
