This sounds wonderful! I definitely recommend stellarium for the stargazing especially in case children come up against light pollution or clouds its handy to have a virtual alternative!
Hi Zara, This sounds fab, see here for rocket making resources! Love the David Bowie idea aswell. I remeber being taught to sing a spaceman came travelling in school and it definitely stuck with me!

This is brilliant, I especially enjoy the diagram piece. a follow up from the rocket making could be parachute making as thats how rovers are landed on mars for example. While this resource is second level orientated it absolutely can be adapted for younger children or done through a demonstration.
