This is lovely, I enjoy the star gallery idea in particular. There’s some fantastic stories about how we once used the stars all over the world https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleiades_in_folklore_and_literature while not a constellation but a star cluster you might find the above interesting!
Hi Rachel! This sounds fab! Just so you know, at BCO for the next while at least, classes have to visit the castle to see the dome. I adore when classes have already covered the basics because we can get onto specific questions they have and more deep space objects! Looking forward to hearing from you if ye are able to make the journey. Open Space or winstars 3 are also fantastic software resources!

This is fantastic! I love the idea of explaining the difference between aeroplanes and rockets – especially because going through the atmosphere is the hard part for rockets because of atmospheric friction and escaping gravity! in space they mostly just have to maintain momentum.

This is fantastic! looking at the CO2 here in particular would be cool as the same thing that is causing the fizzing is such a small (but ever increasing) part of the atmosphere here on Earth while other planets like Venus have atmospheres that are almost entirely carbon dioxide.
