Are use enquiry base learning in my classroom all of the time it is very very beneficial for the younger children as they love to explore and they get lots of new ideas. The enquiry based learning that I have used over the last number of years is based upon the story of the three little pigs and which house we stay standing against the big bad Wolf. We always start off with straw sticks and bricks, but once the children understand the concept of we moved to different materials to see and compare which material holds up the best.
