This course is designed to introduce teachers to Google Workspace for Education and to develop their understanding of how Gemini AI and related digital tools can support teaching, learning and assessment in primary school contexts.

By exploring the use of familiar tools such as Google Docs, Slides, Forms and Classroom, alongside AI supported features such as Gemini and NotebookLM, teachers will gain greater confidence in using digital technologies to support planning, organisation‑ and classroom practice.

Throughout the course, teachers will learn how AI supported tools can assist with lesson preparation, differentiation and assessment for learning, while maintaining teacher professional judgement at all times. The course also supports teachers in planning for effective digital practice using the Digital Learning Framework and in considering how ‑ approaches can be embedded in a sustainable way within classroom and school planning.
