TeachNet is delighted to once again be offering the EPV-day approved summer course ‘Using Google Workspace in the Primary Classroom’. Following on from a successful first iteration in 2021, the course returns with an improved learning experience for the participants. The course could be labelled as a ‘one-stop shop’ when it comes to learning about Google for Education. The course is suitable for both beginners and improvers, meaning there really is something for everyone.
The course will be split into five modules:
- Digital Learning and SSE
- Google Classroom
- 21st Century Skills in the Classroom
- Docs, Forms and Sheets
- Slides, Meet and Groups
What will I learn?
Participants will learn how to use the Google Workspace apps to make planning and preparation easier. They will also learn how to empower students to use them to build digital skills, research information ethically, create digital content and how to store portfolios digitally.
All participants who sign up to the course will have FREE access to a range of resources including: bespoke ‘how-to’ videos, digital learning planning resources, google form assessment quizzes, and much more. Participants will also have access to content created from fellow participants.
‘Google Workspace in the Primary Classroom’ begins on July 4th and runs all the way through the summer holidays. Participants can sign up at this link. Feedback will be offered throughout the course from the TeachNet team and there will be support for all teachers as they work through the course. The content can be used by any teacher who is seeking to get more out of their ‘in-school’ digital technology use. Sign up now for an EPV course that can meet all your professional development needs.
