For Summer 2019, TeachNet are offering six EPV Day Approved courses, to help you and your school embed technology into teaching and learning, including two blended (Face-to-face and online) courses, ‘Making Sense of Minecraft for Education’ and ‘Hacking STEM in the Primary Classroom’, developed in association with Microsoft Education and hosted in DCU St Patrick’s Campus &  DreamSpace, Microsoft’s immersive teaching and learning centre in Leopardstown.

All TeachNet courses are designed and developed “by teachers, for teachers” and provide practical ideas for using digital technologies creatively in the classroom. TeachNet have been delivering quality online and blended CPD since 2008 and feedback from participants over the years supports our belief, that TeachNet courses provide a superior user experience.

ICT and Special Education Needs

Each course is approved for EPV days and cost €89. Delivered online, this course can be taken anytime, anywhere  between Monday  July 1st and Friday  August 23rd, 2019. Participants will be encouraged to engage meaningfully with course content for approximately 20 hours. Whilst engagement with the course content will be primarily judged on the quality of their contributions, a log of their time spent working on the course will be kept.
